Show #160 – May 2, 2010

I’m out of town this week, but I definitely haven’t left you high and dry! I’m very excited to share a very rare, very cool piece of audio that I’m sure many of you haven’t heard of before. This week I’m presenting the music from the un-made Muppet musical “Kermit, Prince of Denmark.”

This was a project written by composers Jeff Marx and Bobby Lopez years before they penned the Tony award-winning Avenue Q. The story is a take-off of William Shakespeare’s play Hamlet, and essentially sees Kermit separated from the rest of the gang on vacation, and his adventures in Denmark. Hope you enjoy it!

As always, thanks for listening! Questions/Comments about the Muppets or The MuppetCast can be emailed to me@muppetcast.com, or called in to the voicemail line at 614-364-4270. Follow the show on Twitter and join the Facebook page too!

Have a great week!

-Steve

Woooooooow… Any word at all why this was denied? It’s so good! The feel good of it feels so natural and sincere, and not manufactured. Thanks for bringing that to us, Steve.
