Show #48 – March 9, 2008

At no point in this podcast will we be stooping to any cheap 3D tricks. Well okay, maybe just one or two.

Back from a refreshing vacation at Walt Disney World, we’ve got a great show in store for you this week. I’m happy to welcome Kevin Clash on to the podcast, and we had a wonderful time talking about some past and current projects.

The MuppetCast is brought to you by Bell, Book and Comic. Life should be more fun!

Our first Palisades Muppet figure contest, sponsored by Bill’s Bricks, comes to a conclusion this week, so listen in to see if you won!

Listener Matt sent in a link to a Muppet belt that would be an asset to any collector’s shelf. Very nicely detailed!

Bryan sent in a link to a story that mentions the new Emmet Otter stage musical, now in the pre-production stages. Paul Williams is attached to the project, so this should be really good.

Brendan points us this week to his new website, titled “Buppets“. Go have a look.

Our buddy Jamie Douglas points us to two of his websites this week, first for his band The PowerGoats, and secondly to his own website, featuring pictures of lots of stuff, including the Balcony Puppeteers!

Paul Barrie, host of the Window To The Magic podcast, is letting everyone know that his friend and co-host Patrick Hurd is a Top 10 finalist for the Disney Dream CMO contest! This is wonderful news, and right now Patrick needs all of us to go to the Dream CMO Website and, if we like Patrick’s video entry, to vote for him as often as we want. Good luck Patrick!

Questions/Comments can be emailed to me@muppetcast.com, or called in to the voice line at 614-364-4270. You can also find me at the Muppet Central Forums, uniting Muppet fans around the world.

Have a great week!
