The 2010 Muppet Madness Tournament has come to a close, and what a final round it was! Bert & Ernie took an early lead in the final round, and no one would have a chance of catching up to them. Congratulations to the Sesame Street duo!

The final standings for the tournament this year are:
1st Place: Bert & Ernie
2nd Place: Kermit the Frog
3rd Place: The Great Gonzo

It’s been a long, hard road, but we finally made it to the Muppet Madness Championship Game! This is the big one! For all the marbles! All the beans! Winner takes all! Losers have to eat the Swedish Chef’s marble-and-bean soup!

There are a couple things you should know about this round. First, you may notice that you can vote for any of five contestants in this match, as opposed to the two-man (or woman, or bear, or pig, etc.) matches we’ve seen in the other voting rounds. So choose wisely! Second, you can now vote once every six hours, as opposed to the 12 that’s been the standard throughout the previous rounds.

Let’s make this Championship Match one to remember! We’ve seen some incredible matches in this year’s tournament, and this final round promises to be even more exciting! Round 3 of the 2010 Muppet Madness Tournament is underway! We’re down to the Elite Eight, can you believe it! You can still vote daily (every 12 hours) on these new matches. The decisions are harder in Round 3, but soon this year’s Muppet champion will emerge!

As an added bonus, we’re giving you the chance to bring back a fallen favorite from Round 1 or 2.
