I didn’t realize this until I posted the show, but we actually begin this episode with Thanksgiving and end with Christmas! Seems like a good idea, given that we’re kicking off the 2009 holiday season this week. Longtime listener BJ Wanlund is my guest, and in a new Muppet List segment we discuss a Muppet project near and dear to our hearts, Muppet Babies.

The MuppetCast is sponsored by our friends at Bell, Book & Comic. Life should be more Fun!

BJ mentioned that Muppet Babies writer Jeffrey Scott published a book in 2003 that he loves called “How to Write for Animation.” There’s your Amazon link!

The Muppets made a fine showing at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Every Muppet moment was captured and presented in the show.

Fox News political commentator Bill O’Reilly may have met his match in grouch form. Spill O’Reilly dropped by the Factor and assured Bill that the “Pox News” jibe wasn’t a slight against just one network. After all, Spill said, “…we don’t like anybody!”

The Muppets made a huge internet splash this past Tuesday November 24 with their new version of Queen’s hit song “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The video earned millions of views in only a few days, and fans everywhere are loving it! If you haven’t seen it, watch it here.

Thanks for listening!
