Disney’s Muppet Viral Videos

Disney’s Muppets Studio has made it a priority to “go viral” with the Muppet characters since 2008. Working with Soapbox Media, the Muppets have taken YouTube by storm with all kinds of original material custom-made for today’s Muppet fans. After Beaker’s rendition of “Ode To Joy” garnered over 5 million views and won the People’s Choice Webby Award, fans all over the world started telling Disney they wanted more!

Well…here it is! Disney is running full force with their viral videos, and we at The MuppetCast see no end in sight (and contrary to what Statler & Waldorf say, that’s a good thing).

Disney also produced some new videos for their “Haunted Holiday 2008″ website, featuring multiple Disney characters celebrating Halloween in their own way. Three new Muppet videos surfaced first on that website alone, then shortly afterward on YouTube.

Hands down the coolest puppets out there as far as instantly classic characters go. Funny lookin, articulate, and trouble makers to the end. hey sure know how to raise that bar. I’ll most definatly be looking to this site for continued inspiration as I include more puppetry into my hobby site. http://www.themonstons.com/. I’m happy Disney isn’t letting these guys just collect dust.

You’re missing “American Woman,” “Popcorn,” and “Dust in the Wind” here!

Yeah, I know. I’ve been meaning to remove this page for a while, and focus more of the video efforts over to MuppetFans.com. I’m planning to re-design this site in a few weeks, so I haven’t thought too much about it :)
