The Muppets have a tradition of pulling out all the stops for the holidays. That’s easy to see by watching productions like “Emmet Otter’s Jugband Christmas”, “A Muppet Family Christmas”, and “The Muppet Christmas Carol”. The MuppetCast also has a tradition of producing some extra-special episodes full of holiday cheer! Review of “Elmo Saves Christmas” (Episode #140) – Along with the review of this 1996 PBS special, author Michael Davis and singer Hervon McNeil join me for special interviews. Michael Davis is the author of the wildly successful book “Street Gang: The Complete History of Sesame Street”. Hervon McNeil is a member of the a capella group 14 Karat Soul, which not only appeared in Elmo Saves Christmas, but has made numerous appearances on Sesame Street and other children’s shows!
Album Review: A Christmas Together (Episode #139) – The Muppets were all over TV this week! All of those appearances are covered, plus a special review of the classic holiday album “John Denver & the Muppets: A Christmas Together”.
Holiday Kickoff 2009 (Episode #138) – The Muppets in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and listener BJ Wanlund appears in a Muppet List segment dedicated to the Muppet Babies.

Paul Williams (Episode #89) Not only do we have a review of the NBC special, but singer/songwriter Paul Williams, who created it, joins us in an exclusive interview! Paul has worked with the Muppets on numerous projects including The Muppet Show, The Muppet Movie, and Emmet Otter’s Jugband Christmas.
Christmas Eve on Sesame Street (Episode #88) This episode features a special review of the 1978 Sesame Christmas special.
