Congratulations to Sesame Street on receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s Daytime Emmy award ceremony. Sesame Street was nominated in over a dozen categories and won several, including Kevin Clash for Outstanding Performer in a Children’s Series.

Sesame Street’s new special “Families Stand Together: Feeling Secure in Tough Times” airs this Wednesday Sept 9. The special is directed at all families and help parents and children communicate about the tough econimic times many are experiencing right now.
