Back in September when I originally put the NY Vidcasts together, one of those unfortunate computer things happened as I was finishing the final video and I thought I lost almost all of the content I had shot. I posted what I had completed of that final installment and simply called it a day. Well, I was able to recover that stuff this week, and am happy to now present the last NYC video in its full glory! There are some things I really wanted you to see, and now I can show them to you.

We make it to New York this week, with the “Muppet Vault” fan meet held on July 25, 2010 in Brooklyn. This was a fun-filled afternoon spent with more Muppet fans than we ever expected! Thanks to everybody who came out and made this such a special event. We’ll definitely do this again soon!

In case you weren’t there, we proudly present OUR portions of the event (meaning, we can’t really show a lot from the actual videos we screened here in the vidcast). We hope you understand. Anyway, you can see most of this stuff on YouTube.

It’s official! The MuppetCast (and thereby its host Steve Swanson) will be visiting New York City for the first time ever! Plans are being made right now, and the stonecarvers are hard at work setting the plans into…well, stone. We ran out of paper here at the office.

The MuppetCast and ToughPigs.com will jointly present an afternoon of what will surely be Muppetational fun on Governor’s Island in NYC. For the latest announcements concerning this awesome Muppet fan gathering, visit ToughPigs.com, since they will be publishing all official plans, and any changes that affect those plans. Even plans set in stone can go wrong sometimes.

Live from New Jersey, it’s The MuppetCast!

Coming to you from the comfy confines of my hotel room in New Jersey, this week’s episode consists of me giving a play-by-play description of everything I experienced while visiting Jane Hunt (mother of Muppeteer Richard Hunt) and Arthur Miller at their home. I took a small sub-set of my equipment on the road with me just in case I’d need it, and that turned out to be a good decision.

Partly because I knew it would make for a good episode, and partly because it was all fresh in my mind at the time and I didn’t want to forget any of it, you’ll hear me describe in great detail just what happened in the Hunt household while I was there. Next week you’ll hear Jane herself, as she and I conducted an in-person interview on video (of which you’ll hear the audio).

Also forthcoming is a special MuppetCast DVD documenting the trip. I won’t say much about it now, but it contains some things I’m sure you never thought you’d see. A can’t-miss DVD for Richard’s fans.
