In response to the question that was raised regarding Teeny Little Super Guy and the “rotation of cups” – it seemed as though Mrs. Allen was under the impression that the cups themselves would rotate – as I read the muppetwiki page I believe there were multiple cups, each having an overlay of a separate Teeny Super Guy pose. These various cups would then be cycled through in series, one replacing the next in rotation to create the appearance of motion or animation, effectively becoming simply another piece of the overall stop motion. I am not certain this is the way it was done; although, this is my interpretation of what is posted on the wiki. Hope it helps. Great show. Take care.
